PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's basketball team dropped a 75-49 decision to Keene State College in a Little East Conference matchup at Foley Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.
The contest was tightly contested through the opening half before Keene State used a 23-9 advantage in the third quarter to create separation and secure the conference victory.

Hailey Malozzi (Maynard, Mass.) opened the new year with a strong all-around effort, leading all scorers with 17 points while pulling down nine rebounds and dishing out four assists. Classmate

Macy Swormstedt (Laconia, N.H.) each added eight points for the Panthers.
Plymouth State moves to 8-3 overall and 1-2 in LEC play, while the Owls improve to 9-4 (3-1 LEC).

- Plymouth State opened the game strong, jumping out to a 10-5 lead in the first four minutes.
- Keene State responded with a 12-2 run to take an 18-12 advantage late in the first quarter.

- PSU scored the first four points of the second quarter to regain a 19-17 lead with 8:46 remaining.
