KEENE, N.H. – Senior
Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) placed 13th to lead the Plymouth State University men's cross country team to a seventh-place team finish at the Keene State Invitational at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday.
Goodman placed third among Little East Conference (LEC) competitors, completing the 8K course in 25:31.8. Junior
Noah Francis (Bethlehem, N.H.) placed 56th in 26:38.2, while sophomore
Alex LeClair (Presque Isle, Maine) was less than a second off his personal-record pace, placing 64th in 26:42.6.
Plymouth State placed just behind LEC rivals Keene State (fifth) and Eastern Connecticut State (sixth) in the final team standings, but ahead of Southern Maine, WestConn, UMass Dartmouth and Rhode Island College. The field included 286 runners representing 31 teams from throughout New England.
