DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Senior Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) was the top finisher for the Plymouth State University women's cross country team as the Panthers placed 15th out of 33 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational at Robert Dowd Cross Country Course on Saturday morning.
 
In a race featuring top competition from all three NCAA divisions, Karow clocked 22:59.3 to finish 54th overall and 11th among Division III runners. Freshman Maya Sanzone (South Berwick, Maine) earned a spot in the top 100 in her first collegiate 6K, placing 93rd in 23:47.5.
 
The varsity field featured more than 240 competitors. Plymouth State placed fifth among Division III teams, one spot ahead of conference rival UMass Dartmouth.
