SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – Senior Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) flew to a fourth-place finish to lead the Plymouth State University men's cross country team to a fourth-place team finish at the NCAA Regional Preview hosted by Bates College at the Wainwright Recreation Complex on Saturday evening. The course will serve as the host site for the NCAA Division III East Regional Championship in November.
 
Goodman was fourth to cross the finish line of the 4.34k course in a time of 13:29.1. He was joined by four more Panthers in the top 25 as sophomore Alex LeClair (Presque Isle, Maine) and senior Ben Colby (Manchester, N.H) finished 20th and 21st, followed closely by junior Noah Francis (Bethlehem, N.H.) and senior Cooper O'Neil (Millbury, Mass.) in 23rd and 25th, respectively.
 
The field featured 148 runners representing eleven different schools. Plymouth State finished fourth as a team and was one of three schools to have five runners place inside the top 25.
