Devin Zeman begins his 24th season with the Plymouth State football team in 2026-27. A former defensive back, Zeman played for the Panthers from 2001-02 before joining the coaching staff in 2003 while finishing his undergraduate degree.

A native of Nashua, Zeman was promoted to Co-Head Coach in July 2020. He had spent the previous 11 seasons as Associate Head Coach while also serving as Defensive Coordinator for the previous 16 years. He has coached the defensive backs and quarterbacks while also working with special teams.

Following the 2017 season, after helping the Panthers to a MASCAC title and NCAA Tournament appearance, Zeman was honored by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston with the Division II/III Assistant Coach of the Year award. His defensive unit has been one of the best in the MASCAC, as the Panthers led the league in scoring defense in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022, and were second by just 0.1 points per game in 2019. That fall, PSU led the league with three defensive touchdowns.
