Courtney O’Clair has been part of Plymouth State Athletics since her days as an undergraduate student-athlete in the early 2000s. She was named Associate Director of Athletics in 2011 and Senior Woman Administrator in 2015, with her responsibilities covering everything from compliance and events to student-worker hiring and management.
  
O’Clair was a member of the women’s basketball team from 2000-04 while earning a degree in Physical Education. Upon graduating she stayed at PSU as an assistant women’s basketball coach for the 2004-05 season and was named the interim head coach the following year.
  
O’Clair was selected by the NCAA for one of its highly sought-after internships in 2006, allowing her to intern for the athletic department while completing her Master of Education in Athletic Administration from 2006-08. After completing her Master's work, O'Clair immediately joined the department on a full-time basis as Assistant Director of Athletics for Events and Compliance. Three years later she was promoted to Associate AD.
  
An active member of the Plymouth State community, O’Clair served as the Professional, Administrative & Technical (PAT) Speaker from 2013-14. She is a member of the university’s Title IX team, was part of the Athletics Fall 2020 Reopening Committee and served as a team leader on PSU’s COVID Rapid Response Team, helping with weekly testing and contact tracing for all students, faculty and staff at Plymouth State from the Fall of 2020 through the Spring of 2022.
  
Honored as the 2020 Distinguished PAT Award winner, O’Clair is also involved with numerous Little East Conference (LEC) and NCAA committees. She has served on NCAA Regional Advisory Committees (RAC) for women’s volleyball and field hockey, is a member of the LEC Awards Committee and worked on several scheduling committees, among others.
