at Waterville Valley Ice Arena.
The story of

UMB had a 27-7
advantage in shots in the first period, but got the only score with
four seconds left in the period on a goal by freshman Rachel Sousa
(Woburn, Mass.). It took only 54 seconds of the second period
for junior Maria Guanci (Everett, Mass.) to score a short-handed
goal to extend UMB's lead to 2-0, and senior Lauren O'Connor
(Everett, Mass.) added a power play goal at 9:30 to make it 3-0.
