PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was two more wins Friday
night for the undefeated Plymouth State University women's
volleyball team as the Panthers competed in the Johnson & Wales
University Fall Classic.
Plymouth State and Western Connecticut State University each went
2-0 to top the field after day one, and host Johnson & Wales
went 1-1. The Panthers defeated the University of
Massachusetts Dartmouth in straight sets (25-12, 25-21, 25-6) in
their opening match, and came back with a 3-1 victory (25-20,
23-25, 25-20, 26-24) over Johnson & Wales. The two-point

its perfect season intact, improving to 16-0 overall. UMass
Dartmouth is now 10-4, and JWU is 9-11.
Senior Eliza Badeau (Foster, R.I.) had another
strong night for the Panthers, recording 15 kills in the win over
UMD and 21 kills and five blocks in the victory over JWU.
