Box Score Rivera sets the pace early in leading the way to a Panther shutout
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State University men's soccer capitalized on two first half goals holding off the Eagles of Daniel Webster College for the 2-0 home win. Sophomore Juan Rivera (Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) scored the winning goal of the game, off a touch n'pass combo in the box, from teammates Joni Hongisto (Kaarina, Finland), and Colin Jerome (Lansdale, Pa.). After some very aggressive play from both squads, Nick Rutherford (Sydney, Australia) finished from within the box, after a well worked give-n-go, assit from freshman Luichi Villasmil (Maracaibo, Venezuela), scoring the Panthers second goal at 31:59 in the first. Plymouth State men's soccer records its first shut out of the season.
