JOHNSON, Vt. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team shook off a slow start by rallying to a 55-point victory over Northern Vermont University-Johnson, 96-41, in a non-conference game at Carter Gymnasium Thursday night.
Junior
Giorgi Tsiklauri (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Panthers with 18 points off the bench while shooting 50.0% from three-point land, while sophomore
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) scored 11 points of his own, shooting an efficient 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
The Panthers took the lead midway through the first half and never looked back, securing a second straight win in the early 2021-22 season.
Plymouth State improves to 2-1 on the season, while the Badgers fall to 1-2.
