HENNIKER, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team saw its four-game win streak snapped in a last possession loss at New England College, 75-73, in non-conference action from Bridges Gym on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore
Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) led the Panthers with 16 points off the bench, while senior
Dante Rivera (Lawrence, Mass.) scored 11 points of his own, including a game-tying three-pointer in the final minute, in the losing effort.
Rivera's triple knotted the score at 73-73 with just 49 seconds to go, but the Pilgrims got to the rim to take the lead with 26 ticks left on the clock. Plymouth State had two chances to force overtime, but could not connect.
Plymouth State falls to 4-2 on the season, while the Pilgrims improve to 2-4.

How it Happened:
- The teams found themselves knotted at 11-11 after the first five minutes of action.
- PSU went on an 8-0 run to take a 19-11 advantage with 12:01 left in the first.
- The Pilgrims responded by going on a 10-0 run of their own to regain a 21-19 lead with 8:45 remaining.
- Bosse answered the call, scoring eight straight Panthers' points to give the visitors a 27-23 lead.
