PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior
Madelin Svetin (Topsham, Maine) won two individual events while sophomore
Kyra Donahue (Methuen, Mass.) and senior
Hannah Bradshaw (Traverse City, Mich.) were also event winners to help Plymouth State University split a double dual meet with Western New England University and Eastern Connecticut State University at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers topped Western New England by a 160.50-101.50 margin, while Eastern Connecticut toppled Plymouth State, 163-99.
Svetin picked up wins in the 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard backstroke, while Donahue took the win in the 50-yard butterfly and Bradshaw topped the field in the 50-yard breaststroke.
Plymouth State improves to 2-1, while WNEU falls to 1-3 and Eastern Connecticut rises to 3-0.

How it Happened:
- Svetin was the Panthers' first winner of the meet with a time of 29.70 in the 50-yard backstroke, after taking third in the 200-yard freestyle earlier in the afternoon.
- Bradshaw followed with a win of her own in the 50-yard breaststroke, inching out the competition in 36.88, while junior Jessica McGregor (New Boston, N.H.) and senior Julia Hollinger (Bow, N.H.) were not far off the pace in third and fourth, respectively.
- Donahue got her day started with back-to-back second place finishes in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 26.74 and 59.46. She was less than a second behind the leader in both events.
- Svetin picked up her second win in the 100-yard backstroke, with senior Jasmine Santiago (Leominster, Mass.) placing third in 1:10.78.
- Bradshaw added a second-place finish to her day in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Donahue capped off her day with a victory in the 50-yard butterfly in 28.94.
- Both the 400-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relay teams scored second with times of 4:12.59 and 2:10.22, respectively.
