QUINCY, Mass. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team found themselves down nine points with under four minutes to play but came roaring back to defeat Eastern Nazarene College in overtime, 92-87, in non-conference action at Lahue Athletic Center on Thursday night.
Sophomore
Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) led the way with 21 points, while senior
Dante Rivera (Lawrence, Mass.) added 16 points of his own. Senior
Manny Alisandro (Manchester, N.H.), freshman
Yansel Reyes (Manchester, N.H.), and sophomore
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) also scored in double figures.
Bosse was perfect from the floor (10-10 fg, 1-1 3pt), becoming the first Panther to shoot 100% (minimum eight attempts) January 2005. Reyes notched his first career double-double after handing out 12 assists to go with his 10 points.
PSU trailed 75-66 with 3:53 remaining, but Reyes drained a triple to spark a 9-0 spurt as Bosse's layup tied the game with 24 seconds to go. The teams traded baskets to open the extra frame before Bosse connected from long range to give the Panthers the lead for good with 3:14 remaining.
Plymouth State improves to 5-3 on the season, while the Lions fall to 5-5.

How it Happened:
- PSU found themselves down 10-4 early after the Lions hit a baseline three 2:32 into the game.
- ENC extended its lead to 19-8, but the Panthers bounced back with a 15-4 run to tie the game with 10:30 left in the first.
- The score remained tight to close out the first half, but a buzzer-beating layup put the hosts up 43-41 as the teams went to the locker room.
- ENC extended its lead to eight (61-53) with 13:42 left in the second, but Plymouth answered again, riding an 8-0 run to tie the game with 10:34 remaining.
- The Lions pounced late, going on a 9-0 run to go up 75-66, but once again PSU roared back to tie the game with 16 seconds on the clock.
- The Panthers took all the momentum into OT by scoring the first basket and never looking back to secure the win.
By the Numbers:
- The Panthers shot an incredible 39-of-74 (52.7%) from the floor and 9-of-26 (34.6%) from three. PSU hit 7-of-9 in overtime.
- PSU outrebounded ENC 47-33, including 13-8 on the offensive glass.
- The Panthers had an overwhelming 38-3 bench point advantage.
- Points in the paint were in PSU's favor, 50-38.
- Plymouth State had five players score in double figures for the second time this season.
- Bosse's perfect performance from the floor was the first of any PSU player (minimum eight attempts) since January 29, 2005.
