WATERVILLE, Maine – The Plymouth State University women's basketball team fell to Colby College 68-48 in non-conference action at Margaret M. Crook Center on Monday evening.

Alessia Salzillo (Saugus, Mass.) and sophomore
Sabrina Vlahovic (New Hope, Pa.) scored 14 points apiece in the loss.
The Panthers found themselves down five points at halftime, but Colby College scored 31 points in the third quarter to give themselves a lead that was too big to come back from.
Plymouth State falls to 1-5 on the season, while the Mules improve to 7-1.

- PSU used a 13-2 run in the first to go up eight (13-5) with 3:01 left in the quarter.
- The Mules cut lead to 13-10 to close out the quarter with a three-pointer as time went to zero.
- Colby rode a 10-0 run of its own in the second quarter to go up 20-17 with 4:17 remaining.
- The Mules took a five-point lead into halftime, with a 27-22 advantage.
- The home team scored more points in the third quarter alone than the entire first half, outscoring PSU 31-15 to break away 58-37 at the end of three.
- The Panthers outscored Colby 11-10 in the fourth quarter but fell to the Mules 68-48 at the end of regulation.
