PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team fell to the Keene State College Owls 86-62 in a Little East Conference (LEC) game in Foley Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
Sophomore
Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) led the Panthers with 11 points while freshman
Yansel Reyes (Manchester, N.H.) scored 10 points of his own in the losing effort.
The Panthers led by two at halftime, but Keene State shot 70% from the floor in the second half to fly away from the Panthers and secure their second conference win of the season.
Plymouth State falls to 6-4 (1-1 LEC) on the season, while the Owls improve to 7-2 (2-0 LEC).

How it Happened:
- The teams struggled to find buckets early, with the Owls taking an 8-2 lead in the first seven minutes of play.
- PSU answered, though, going on a 13-4 run to take the lead 17-15 with 5:25 left in the first half.
- After six lead changes late in the first, the Panthers found themselves knotted at 27-27 with 1:19 to go until halftime.
- The Panthers scored the only two points in the last minute of play to take a 29-27 halftime lead.
- KSC started the second half fast, taking an 11-2 run to build a seven-point lead (38-31) with 16:40 remaining in regulation.
- The Owls extended their lead to 20 over the next ten minutes, (70-50) with 6:29 on the clock.
- PSU was able to get within 15 at one point but could not keep up with the hot-shooting Owls in the second half, falling 86-62 in the end.
By the Numbers:
- The Panthers shot 22-of-71 (31.0%) from the floor and 4-of-21 (19.0%) from three.
- PSU outrebounded Keene 44-42, 17-5 on the offensive glass.
- The Panthers last held the lead with 18:12 remaining in the second half.
