How it Happened:
- Plymouth State had a prime scoring opportunity early in the second quarter when Perry sent a drive from the nearside across the arc to freshman Meghan Cote (Tilton, N.H.) on the weakside but PSU was unable to convert.
- The Panthers got on the board in the 22nd minute when Perry fired a shot on a quick restart that snuck past the Owls' goalie for a 1-0 lead.
- Keene came back to tie the score with just under seven minutes left in the half when senior Jordyn Martin (Wantage, N.J.) fired a shot that was redirected by sophomore Ellie Hunkins (Greenland, N.H.) at the far post off a penalty corner.
- The visitors pulled ahead less than a minute later when freshman Demetria Gonzalez (Merrimack, N.H.) fired a shot from well outside the arc that senior Nina Bruno (Agawam, Mass.) got just enough of her stick on to flick into the goal.
- Keene stayed in front until early in the fourth quarter. Perry sent the ball to senior Haley Wakefield (South Paris, Maine) off a penalty corner and Wakefield's backhanded shot found the back of the cage to square the game at 2-2.
- The Owls took the lead for good with nine minutes left on the clock. Bruno's initial shot was saved, but sophomore Chase Lambert (West Suffield, Conn.) was there to knock in the rebound.
- The game was called due to lightning with 1:34 remaining in the fourth.
