BIDDEFORD, Maine – Junior
Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) poured in a career-high 31 points as part of a double-double to lead the Plymouth State University men's basketball team to a 75-48 win over the University of New England in the Jim Beaudry Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Bosse, whose scoring outburst was the most for a Panther since 1,000-point scorer Dante Rivera scored 34 during the 2019-20 season, earned tournament Most Outstanding Player honors after helping the Panthers to a perfect 2-0 weekend.

Elijah Swanson (Meredith, N.H.) gave a strong effort for the third consecutive game with six points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Plymouth State improves to 2-1 on the season and remains unbeaten all-time against the Nor'easters. UNE falls to 1-2.

- Trailing 6-2 after the first 2:44, PSU ran off 12 straight points to take the lead, 14-6, with 13:11 on the clock to force a UNE timeout.

- PSU closed out the first half strong, regaining a 36-31 advantage heading into the locker room.
