HARTFORD, Conn. – Juniors
Trevor O'Mara (Litchfield, N.H.) and
Tyler O'Mara (Litchfield, N.H.) each picked up wins, but Plymouth State University dropped three matches at the Trinity College Quad on Saturday evening.
Tyler picked up a win by decision and Trevor won by major decision in a 46-7 setback to the host Bantams to open the day. PSU also dropped bouts to regional powers University of Southern Maine and Western New England University.
Plymouth State slips to 0-5 in dual meet action for the year. Southern Maine moves to 9-4, Trinity to 8-7 and Western New England is now 7-6.

How it Happened:
- Tyler O'Mara put Plymouth State on the board against the Bantams with a decisive 9-2 decision win at 149 pounds, while twin brother Trevor picked up four points with a 13-4 major decision at 157 pounds.
- The Bantams controlled the contest from there, getting pins at 165, 174 and 197, with forfeits at 184 and 285 to secure the win.
- Junior Christian Kuechler (Chester, N.H.) wrestled well at 197 pounds against Southern Maine but was narrowly held back in a 5-2 decision.
- Freshman Cody Giaccone (Glastonbury, Conn.) lost a 9-0 decision, while the Huskies powered through the rest of the PSU lineup.
- Against WNEU, Tyler O'Mara was nipped in an 11-7 decision at 149 pounds, while Trevor O'Mara fell by a 16-4 margin.
- The Golden Bears picked up technical fall, fall or forfeit wins the rest of the way.
