PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced its Fall/Winter 2022 All-Academic Team on Tuesday, and 75 Plymouth State University student-athletes were among those honored.
Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by the MASCAC during the course of the Fall and Winter 2022 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Fall/Winter All-Academic team.
"On behalf of the MASCAC, I want to congratulate all the MASCAC student-athletes who were named to the 2022 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic team," said commissioner Angela Baumann. "Academic success is a paramount piece of the student-athlete experience in the MASCAC and the success of our student-athletes in the classroom as seen by the names on this list is a testament to their hard work."
Plymouth State had 55 representatives from the football program, the most among all MASCAC institutions, while the men's hockey program had 20 honorees, the third-most in the league.
A total of 1,218 student-athletes were recognized across the league's full-time and affiliate members. Plymouth State is an affiliate member of the MASCAC in the sports of football and men's ice hockey.
