PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's soccer team defeated the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners, 3-0, in a non-conference match on Arold Field Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers dominated the match from start to finish, posting a shutout on the scoreline while holding the Mariners to zero shots in the rain-shortened contest. Emily Wilson (Salem, N.H.) delivered a perfect corner kick that led to Bellmore's first goal to put the Panthers up 1-0 in the 27th minute.
Plymouth State closed out the scoring when graduate student
Kaliana Palhof (Loudon, N.H.) buried a pass from graduate student
McKayla Palhof (Loudon, N.H.) in the 60th minute to put the game out of reach.
The game ended in the 72nd minute due to heavy rain and deteriorating field conditions, making the game official for the Panthers' fifth win of the season.
Seniors
Tess Leduc (Marlborough, Mass.),
Brianna Chaffee (Exeter, R.I.), and
