PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Seniors
Jessica McGregor (New Boston, N.H.) and
Kyra Donahue (Methuen, Mass.) each posted individual wins to lead the Plymouth State University women's swim team in a 174-46 setback to Bridgewater State University in a dual meet at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday.
McGregor was first to touch the wall in the 100 yard breaststroke, also taking second in the 200 yard freestyle, while Donahue paced the field in the 50 yard freestyle. Freshman
Jackie Gaigals (Methuen, Mass.) added a pair of third place finishes, while sophomore
Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine) and freshman
Adriana Cepeda (Boston, Mass.) each posted a third-place showing.
Plymouth State slips to 2-8 in dual meets for the season, while the Bears go to 5-8.

How it Happened:
- The quartet of sophomore Sam Morales-Barszcz (Meriden, Conn.), McGregor, Gobin and Cepeda teamed up for a third place finish in the 200 yard medley relay in 2:18.19.
- McGregor took second in the 200 yard freestyle after touching the wall in 2:20.70, while Gobin was just behind her in 2:41.13.
- Donahue topped the field in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 27.03.
- Gaigals took third in the 100 yard IM, just 0.38 seconds behind the second-place finisher, with a time of 1:14.18.
- She followed that with another third-place showing, this time in the 100 yard freestyle in 1:05.18.
- Cepeda was third in the 500 yards freestyle after posting a tie of 7:13.46.
- McGregor picked up the win in the 100 yard breaststroke with a winning time of 1:19.30.
- PSU closed the meet with a third place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay as McGregor, Gaigals, Donahue and freshman Paige Lee (Stratham, N.H.) joined forces for a 1:55.16.
