PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Junior
Crosby Fay (Waterville Valley, N.H.) scored three times but Lasell College topped the Panthers, 5-4, in overtime in a non-conference men's lacrosse game at Panther Field on Tuesday afternoon.
Scoring was hard to come by in a game that featured gusting wind and chilly temperatures. The Lasers held a 2-0 lead after one, but Plymouth State used a 3-1 spurt to take a 4-3 lead midway through the fourth quarter. The lead was short-lived, as Lasell came right back to tie the game just seven seconds later and the score remained deadlocked at 4-4 through the end of regulation. The visitors escaped with the win when they found the back of the cage with 2:42 remaining in the extra frame.
