PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Sophomore
Ollie Kramer (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) and juniors
Olivia Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) and
Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) posted the top finishes for the Plymouth State University women's swim team as the Panthers split a double dual meet with Western New England University and Eastern Connecticut State University at the PSU Natatorium on Friday afternoon.
Kramer and Bailey each posted a second and third place individual finish, while Gaigals was the runner up in the 50-yard butterfly and added a fourth-place showing. The three also teamed up with junior
Emma Seward (Los Angeles, Calif.) to win the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Plymouth State held off Western New England, 106-87, but fell to Eastern Connecticut, 159-45, to move to 2-5 on the season. The Warriors topped Western New England, 166-39, to stay unbeaten at 5-0, while WNEU ends the day at 1-4.

How it Happened:
- Seniors Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine) and Sam Morales-Barszcz (Meriden, Conn.) joined up with sophomores Caitlyn Falvey (Dracut, Mass.) and Gabby Gladu (Lewiston, Maine) as the Panthers finished fourth in the 400-yard medley relay in 5:46.60.
- Kramer followed with her third-place finish in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:38.58.
- Morales-Barszcz was fourth in the 200-yard freestyle after finishing in 2:40.35. Sophomore Vickie Ni (Lebanon, N.H.) posted a season best by three seconds in the same event.
- Gaigals followed with a season best mark of her own, 27.80, to finish fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.
- Bailey was third in the 100-yard IM in 1:9.23 and Gaigals followed with a silver medal performance in the 50-yard butterfly in 29.58.
- Seward touched the wall in 1:09.87 to finish fourth in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Bailey was the runner up in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:26.48 and Kramer took second in the 500-yard freestyle after shaving two seconds off her season best time to touch the wall in 6:05.62.
- Gladu ended up fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a mark of 3:05.54. Falvey diced a remarkable 19 seconds off her season-best time in the event.
- The Panthers closed the meet on a high note as Gaigals, Bailey, Seward and Kramer joined forces to win the 400-yard freestyle relay in 4:09.52.
