WENHAM, Mass. – Junior
Olivia Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) had another impressive showing with a pair of individual wins to help the Plymouth State University women's swim team split a double dual meet at the Bennett Center on Saturday.
PSU topped Albertus Magnus, 146-75, but fell to the host Fighting Scots, 168-82.
Bailey kicked off with the Panthers' first victory of the day in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.62, and she followed with another win in the 50-yard backstroke in 32.27. She beat the entire field by multiple seconds in each race.
Bailey also added a second-place finish in the 200-yard IM in 2:34.60, and teamed up with junior
Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) and sophomores
Gabby Gladu (Lewiston, Maine) and
Ollie Kramer (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:54.62 to take second.
With the split, Plymouth State moves to 1-4. Gordon bumps up to 5-2, while Albertus Magnus dips to 1-2.

How it Happened:
- The 200-yard medley relay squad of Gladu, Gaigals, senior Sam Morales-Barszcz (Meriden, Conn.) and sophomore Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine) started the day with a third-place finish in a combined time of 2:20.73.
- Junior Emma Seward (Los Angeles, Calif.) finished third in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 14:20.29.
- Kramer nabbed a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:16.57.
- Bailey won her first event in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.62.
- Gaigals took second in own individual event, the 100-yard butterfly, in a time of 1:13.15.
- Seward placed in the top three again in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:08.45.
- Bailey maintained the momentum for her next event with another victory in the 50-yard backstroke, winning in 32.27 seconds.
- Kramer and Gladu both placed second in their next events. Kramer completed the 500-yard freestyle in 6:11.69, and Gladu in the 50-yard breaststroke in 38.96.
- Gaigals got on the podium again with a victory in the 50-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 29.95 seconds.
- Bailey closed out the day for the individuals with a second-place finish in 2:34.60 in the 200-yard IM.
- Bailey, Gaigals, Gladu and Kramer finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:54.62.
