KEENE, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team fell to the #12 Keene State College Owls, 93-63, in a Little East Conference (LEC) matchup at Spaulding Gymnasium Wednesday night.
The Panthers kept the game close for much of the first half before Keene State closed out with an 18-4 run to take a comfortable halftime lead. Plymouth State ran with the Owls for the entire second half, but the early deficit proved to be too far to come back from.
Junior
Torran Bosworth (Springfield, Mass.) led the Panthers with 19 points, while senior
Kevin Newton-Delgado (Hopkinton, N.H.) added 15 points of his own. Senior
Elijah Swanson (Meredith, N.H.) tallied 11 points, while classmate
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) rounded out the scoring for Plymouth State with ten points on the evening.
Plymouth State goes to 6-3 (1-2 LEC) on the season, while the Owls, ranked #12 in this week's D3hoops.com poll, improve to 5-1 (1-0 LEC).

How it Happened:
- The Panthers led 6-5 with 15:23 left in the first half.
- Keene State took its first lead of the game, jumping out in front 10-6 less than a minute later.
- PSU tied the match at 13-13 with 11:53 remaining in the first half.
- The Owls used nine unanswered points, including a rare four-point play, to go up 22-13 with 9:52 to go until halftime.
- On the back of an 18-4 run, Keene State extended the margin to 46-25 to close out the first half.
- The Panthers scored on three-straight possessions to get to within 17 points (48-31) to open the second half but would get no closer as the nationally-ranked Owls locked down on both ends of the court to secure their first conference win of the season.
