BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Sophomores
Paige Lee (Stratham, N.H.) and
Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) each posted a pair of second place finishes to lead the Plymouth State University women's swim team in a dual meet at Bridgewater State at the Dr. Mary Jo Moriarty Pool on Saturday afternoon.
Lee was the runner up in both the 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard freestyle, while Gaigals claimed second in the 100-yard freestyle and 50-yard butterfly.
Bridgewater State outpaced the Panthers by a 209-59 margin.
Plymouth State ends the regular season with a 6-6 record in dual meets, while Bridgewater State goes to 5-6.

How it Happened:
- Freshman Ollie Kramer (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) opened the individual events with a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:17.24.
- Lee picked up the first of her two second place showings in the 50-yard backstroke in 32.34.
- Freshman Gabby Gladu (Lewiston, Maine) was third in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 40.52.
- Gladu followed with a second place in the 100-yard butterfly, with junior Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine) on her heels in third with a time of 1:21.64.
- Lee continued her good day by taking second in the 50-yard freestyle in 29.54.
- Gaigals and Kramer went second and third in the 100-yard freestyle. Gaigals was just off the winning pace with a time of 1:01.35, while Kramer touched the wall in 1:02.71.
- Sophomore Liv Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) was second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:09.71.
- Gaigals took second in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 30.56, before Bailey took third in the 100-yard IM in 1:14.61.

- Plymouth State competes at the Little East Conference (LEC) Championships at the Boston Sports Institute in two weeks. The three-day meet begins on Feb. 16.
