HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior
Ty Miller (Groton, Conn.) was a perfect 3-0 with a pair of wins by fall to lead the Plymouth State University wrestling team at the Trinity College Quad on Saturday.
Miller opened his day with a lopsided 20-9 major decision against the host Bantams, before following with back-to-back pins against his opponents from Western New England University and the University of Southern Maine.
PSU dropped all three duals on the day.

How it Happened:
- Senior Jack Carrozzi (Bedford, N.H.) battled in a 4-0 decision at 157 pounds against Trinity. The Bantams held a 22-0 team lead before Miller picked up his 20-9 major decision.
- Junior Chase Anestis (Belmont, N.H.) followed with a 16-1 technical fall at 165 and classmate Colin Hile (Walpole, Mass.) picked up a pin at 174 as the Panthers trimmed the margin to 22-15.
- The Bantams took the last two bouts by fall to account for the 34-15 score.
- Miller was the lone bright spot for the Panthers against a powerful Western New England squad, picking up the first of two wins by fall at 165 to account for the entirety of PSU's scoring.
- Sophomore Nick Savariego (Hillsdale, N.J.) earned a win by fall at 133 pounds and Carrozzi and Miller also secured pins as PSU held an 18-17 lead over Southern Maine after the first six weight classes. The Huskies responded with three straight pins, before sophomore Michael Moussa (Tucson, Ariz.) secured three points for the Panthers with a 2-1 decision at 285 pounds.
