KEENE, N.H. – Junior
Olivia Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) posted three top three finishes to pace the Plymouth State University women's swim team in a double dual meet against Rhode Island College and Keene State at Spaulding Pool on Saturday afternoon.
Bailey topped the field in the 100-yard backstroke, took second in the 50-yard backstroke and used a season-best time to finish third in the 50-yard freestyle.
Junior
Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) added a third place showing in the 50-yard butterfly.
Keene State swept the meet, while the Panthers also fell short against Rhode Island College.
Plymouth State slips to 3-9, while the Anchorwomen go to 2-6. Keene State jumps to 5-3.

How it Happened:
- The foursome of sophomore Vickie Ni (Lebanon, N.H.), seniors Sam Morales-Barszcz (Meriden, Conn.) and Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine) and sophomore Laurel Bennett (Rindge, N.H.) opened the meet in the 200-yard medley relay, combining for a 2:30.03.
- Sophomore Gabby Gladu (Lewiston, Maine) took fourth in the grueling 1,000-yard freestyle after touching the wall in 13:53.63.
- Gobin was PSU's top finisher in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:36.25.
- Bailey claimed second in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.80 seconds.
- Morales-Barszcz finished fifth in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 43.06.
- Gaigals claimed fifth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:11.05, just ahead of Gobin's 1:19.50.
- Bailey nabbed her second podium finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 27.33 – nearly a full half-second faster than her previous best – to finish third.
- She followed with PSU's lone victory, winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:08.79.
- Gladu took sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:24.14.
- Bennett was sixth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 7:22.33.
- Gaigals just outreached her competition to finish third in the 50-yard butterfly with a mark of 30.56 seconds, then claimed sixth in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:15.19. Gobin was just behind her in a season-best 1:20.55.
- Gaigals, Gladu, Bennett and Bailey closed out the afternoon with a third place showing in the 200-yard freestyle relay, teaming up for a 1:57.55.
