PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) recorded a career-high 34 points, as the Plymouth State University men's basketball team defeated the Worcester State University Lancers, 86-58, in a non-conference matchup in Foley Gymnasium Wednesday afternoon.
The Lancers did everything to prevent a runaway, but Plymouth State preserved its double-digit halftime lead throughout what started to be a competitive second half. Eighteen unanswered points late in the contest put the game out of reach, as Plymouth State cruised to a comfortable seventh win of the season.
Henry led all scorers in a career night, while sophomore
Eli Pockette (Rutland, Vt.) added 14 points of his own. Junior
Torran Bosworth (Springfield, Mass.) netted nine points and brought down five rebounds in the winning effort for the Panthers.
Plymouth State improves to 7-4, while the Lancers fall to 3-10 on the season.

- Plymouth State opened on a 9-2 run with 17:11 on the clock in the opening half.
- The Panthers extended the advantage to 22-9 with 12:16 left in the first.
- Henry landed his 16th point of the first half to give the Panthers an 18-point advantage (42-24) with 3:23 to go – the team's largest lead of the opening frame.
