PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Junior
Olivia Bailey (Wrentham, Mass.) had a big day in the pool with three individual wins to pace the Plymouth State University women's swimming team as the Panthers split a double dual meet with the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Maine Maritime Academy at the PSU Natatorium on Thursday afternoon.
Bailey claimed victories in the 100-yard backstroke, 50-yard backstroke and 50-yard freestyle, while sophomore
Ollie Kramer (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) won the 200-yard IM and 100-yard freestyle. Sophomore
Gabby Gladu (Lewiston, Maine) and junior
Jackie Gaigals (Rochester, N.H.) were also event winners for the Panthers, who toppled Little East Conference foe UMass Dartmouth by a 141-90 margin.
The Mariners picked up a pair of team wins, holding off PSU, 136-123, and toppling the Corsairs, 137.5-108.5.
Plymouth State moves to 3-6, while Maine Maritime jumps to 3-2. The Corsairs remain winless at 0-7.

How it Happened:
- Seniors Sam Morales-Barszcz (Meriden, Conn.) and Liana Gobin (Belfast, Maine), and freshman Laurel Bennett (Rindge, N.H.) teamed up with Gladu and Gobin to open the meet with a third place finish in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:22.16.
- Kramer snagged the day's first win by topping the field in the 200-yard IM in 2:38.69.
- Bailey followed with her first victory of the afternoon in the 100-yard backstroke where she outswam the competition by more than six seconds to win in 1:07.02.
- Gladu continued the streak with a first place finish in the 50-yard breaststroke. She narrowly out-touched the competition to finish in 38.35.
- Gaigals nearly made it three straight event wins in the 100-yard butterfly, ultimately taking second in 1:10.93 by just 0.22 seconds.
- Bailey restored order with another win, this time in the 50-yard freestyle, after touching the wall in 27.92.
- Kramer and Gaigals took the top two spots in the 100-yard freestyle. Kramer posted a 1:02.41, with Gaigals right behind her in 1:03.51.
- Bailey closed out the trifecta with a win in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.32.
- Gladu was the runner up in the 100-yard breaststroke with a mark of 1:23.17, before Kramer capped her day with a second place showing in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:10.30.
- Gaigals was first to touch the wall in the 50-yard butterfly in 30.80.
- Gaigals, Bennett, Kramer and Bailey wrapped up the day with a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The foursome finished in 1:54.72, just 0.38 off the pace.
