Molly Bellmore (Hebron, Conn.) etched her name among the top ten goal scorers in Plymouth State University women's soccer history, while senior goalkeeper
Sydney Rowe (Cañon City, Colo.) recorded the most saves by a Panther in more than a decade as PSU fell to the University of Southern Maine, 5-1, in a Little East Conference (LEC) matchup at Hannaford Field on Wednesday night.
Bellmore's goal, the 24th of her career, tied her for ninth on the program's all-time list. The senior made an impact from her very first collegiate game, scoring twice against New England College. Her final goal, PSU's lone tally in the loss, came in the 36th minute against the Huskies.
Rowe turned in a standout performance with 18 saves – the most by a Plymouth State goalkeeper since the 2014 season.
Plymouth State ends its season at 6-12-0 (0-8-0 LEC), while the Huskies move to 8-10-2 (4-2-2 LEC).
