PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Three members of the Plymouth State University men's and women's basketball programs were honored by College Sports Communicators for their academic excellence on Tuesday, as the CSC Academic All-District Teams were announced.
Graduate student
Sabrina Vlahovic (New Hope, Pa.) and junior
Raegan Peck (Dudley, Mass.) represented the women's team, while sophomore
Eli Pockette (Rutland, Vt.) was recognized from the men's squad.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-April.
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Graduate students must maintain the minimum GPA as both undergrad and graduate students. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests.
The men's team, under the direction of 14-year head coach

The women went 5-20 overall and 1-15 in league play. Second-year head coach
Curtis Arsenault captained the Panthers to a thrilling one-point win over Thomas College in the consolation game of the Gene DeLorenzo Tip Off Tournament, where Vlahovic was named to the All-Tournament Team.
