PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Five Plymouth State University women's cross country and track & field student-athletes were among those honored as College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District recipients on Tuesday.
Seniors
Libby McIntyre (Greene, Maine) and
Kylie Taylor (Orford, N.H.), and sophomores
Emma Couturier (Turner, Maine),
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and
Olivia Neely (Old Town, Maine) were all honored for their efforts in the classroom and in competition as the Academic All-District Teams celebrate the nation's top student-athletes.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. In the sport of cross country, nominees must have posted a top-50 individual performance at the 2024 NCAA Regional competition, while track & field nominees must appear in the top-50 regional ranking in a single indoor or outdoor event.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America Teams will be announced in mid-July.
