PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior
Sydney Riley (Haverhill, Mass.) earned Little East Conference (LEC) honors for the second time this fall as the league announced its weekly awards on Monday.
Riley was named LEC Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week after a huge week at the net to help Plymouth State sweep VTSU Lyndon and Eastern Connecticut State last week.
Riley finished the week with 21 kills (3.50 per set), a .625 attack percentage and just one attack error, while adding five blocks. She hit .529 with 10 kills, five blocks and two digs in Saturday's win over Eastern Connecticut after recording 11 kills on 15 attempts without an error for a .733 attack percentage in Wednesday's sweep of the Hornets.

Plymouth State has won nine of its last ten matches, improving to 14-4 (4-1 LEC). The Panthers host Southern Maine in a league game on Wednesday (Oct. 21) at 5 p.m.
