Abby Burbank

Abby Burbank is back at Plymouth State in 2016-17 as assistant women’s lacrosse coach. Burbank previously served as head coach of the Panthers for two seasons in 1999 and 2000.

A graduate of Williams College and former member of the varsity basketball and lacrosse teams, Burbank has a wealth of lacrosse coach experience at the college and international level. During her two years at Plymouth State, the Panthers posted a 27-9 record and captured two New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance regular season titles, one NEWLA Championship and an NCAA Division III Tournament berth in 2000.

Burbank also served three years as head women’s lacrosse coach at the University of Denver, and spent four years (2007-10) as head coach at Skidmore College. Burbank’s international experience includes serving as head coach of the Danish National Team in 2009 and the Wales National Team in 2015-16.

“I am thrilled to be back in New Hampshire,” said Burbank. “"Plymouth State is a place of community and it is great to be part of an institution in which the players are so dedicated and where the families and alumnae have such a great connection to the program and the University. I’m happy to continue the lacrosse tradition at PSU.”
