Molly Bolduc was named head field hockey coach on February 7, 2023, and led the Panthers to their most wins in nearly a decade during in her first season.
 
Bolduc’s squad raced out of the gates to win six of its first seven games in 2023, including a pair of double-overtime thrillers. PSU finished the year 12-6 to match the most wins since 2017 and finished third in the LEC, also matching the best conference finish in seven years. The Panthers earned the No. 3 seed for the LEC Tournament, blanked WestConn in the first round and advanced to the semifinals.
 
In 2024, PSU claimed the No. 3 seed in the LEC Tournament for the second straight year and defeated WestConn, 5-4, in the first round before falling to No. 2 Keene State in the semifinals. The Panthers finished 5-12 in 2025, with five losses coming by a single goal, and advanced to the LEC Tournament as the No. 6 seed.
 
Bolduc has mentored several of the program’s top individual performers. Kayla Antonucci ‘24 ‘25G became the program’s first LEC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2023, while Taylor Healey ‘25 finished her career as the program’s all-time leader in goals (72) and points (168). Kyla Napolitano ’26 ranked sixth nationally in defensive saves in 2025, while goalkeeper Natalie Merrick ’29 posted 10 double-digit save performances.
 
Prior her current position, Bolduc spent three seasons as an assistant at the University of New England from 2016-19, helping the Nor’easters to the second round of the NCAA Tournament twice and three consecutive appearances in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship game, including conference titles in 2016 and 2017. During her time in Biddeford, UNE posted a 50-19 overall record, including a 33-3 mark in conference play.
 
Bolduc later spent three seasons as the head coach at Yarmouth (Maine) High School, helping build a program that went 4-10 the year before to her arrival. The program improved to 5-5 in her first season before posting back-to-back eight-win seasons. The 2021 team finished 8-4-2 and advanced to the Class B regional semifinal, while the 2022 team went 8-6 and reached the quarterfinals.
 
Bolduc also spent time coaching club and summer field hockey, including a stint as co-director of MAINE STYX Field Hockey Club in Portland, where she coached the U16 Elite team. She also founded the Hit the Turf Field Hockey League, a program for high school players interested in competing at the next level.
 
Bolduc played for the Panthers from 2009-10 before her career was cut short by injury. She was part of Plymouth State’s 2009 team advanced to the ECAC New England championship game after a pair of tournament upsets. She returned in 2010, appearing in 16 games and helping PSU to a 14-7 record and an ECAC New England championship.
