High School

A 2013 graduate of Stratford High School in Stratford CT, Ceronelettered in four years of lacrosse and soccer and two years inbasketball and indoor track. A senior captain in both soccer andlacrosse, Cerone set the Stratford high school record for careergoals and points for both boys and girls. She helped lead her teamto their first ever Conference tournament appearance in 2012 andfirst ever State tournament appearance in 2013. Cerone earnedmultiple accolades in lacrosse including Southwest ConferenceAll-Division Team honors in 2011 and 2012, First Team All-SouthwestConference honors in 2013, Connecticut Post All-Star Team honors in2013 and was also the winner of the Babe Ruth Award(Outstanding Senior Female Athlete). She was the recipient of theRed Devil Award in basketball in 2011. Cerone excelled in theclassroom as well earning the Southwest Conference All-AcademicAward in 2013. She was coached by Karen Newall.

Personal

Abigail Nicole Cerone is the daughter of Richard and JaniceCerone. Her father Richard played football at Washington and LeeUniversity and graduated in 1982. Cerone has two brothers (Mike andDrew).
