A 2010 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School in Manchester, N.H. Gonyea was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse and was a team captain her senior year. She was coached by Beth Dooly who is a 2005 graduate of Plymouth State and former member of the women's lacrosse team.
