High School

A 2011 graduate of Hull High School in Hull, Mass., MacDonald was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse, soccer and basketball. MacDonald was a captain in all three sports. In basketball, she led her team to the State Championship title her senior season as a point guard. In lacrosse, MacDonald was the first player in school history to score more than 200 points in a career. She was a 3X South Shore League All-Star, Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic in 2011, South Shore League Scholar-Athlete in 2011, Quattlebaum Award Winner (Most Outstanding Male or Female Athlete at Hull High) in 2011 and was awarded the US Army Reserves National Scholar-Athlete Award in 2010. MacDonald was coached by Don Edwards.

Amy MacDonald is the daughter of Joseph and Joan MacDonald. She has one brother (Taylor).
