Biography

High School

A 2012 graduate of South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Conn., Canty was a three-year letter winner in lacrosse. Her senior year, she earned All-Conference and All-Courant Honorable Mention honors. A team captain, she also earned a spot on the CT Super Juniors Team. Canty was coached by Ed Duclos.

Personal

Brogan Marie Canty is the daughter of Bruce and Robyn Canty. Her father Bruce played ice hockey and baseball at St. Lawrence University. He played semi professional baseball for the Cape Cod Baseball League. Canty has two older brothers (Shane and Ian). Ian is a sophomore defenseman on the Salem State men's ice hockey team.
