sophomore Tashauna Ashmeade (Hyannis, Mass.) Senior Madison
Malloy (Cranston, R.I.) chipped in with 11 points and junior Kaylin
Nelson (New Bedford, Mass.) contributed 10.

first half, but UMD came back, using a 10-2 run to take a 30-29
lead into the locker room. Judd's jumper with 24 seconds left kept
PSU within a point at halftime.
Judd's lay-up with 3:01 left in the second half gave PSU a 73-68
lead, and the Panthers then made eight consecutive free throws in
the final 1:52 to seal the victory. Kent and senior Kayla
Morin (Pascoag, R.I.) each made a pair, and Judd hit the
final four.
Both teams are back in action at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with LEC home
