WATERVILLE, Maine - After battling to a 2-2 tie
through one quarter, the Colby College men's lacrosse team scored
nine unanswered goals on the way to a 12-6 non-conference victory
over Plymouth State University Tuesday at Bill Alfond Field.
The Mules move to 2-0 on the season, while PSU was playing its
season opener.

N.J.) scored goals in the first quarter for Colby, while Steve
Engel (South Windsor, Conn.) and Brian Giroux (Wolfeboro Falls,

the ball back with 12 seconds remaining, Boches added his second

The Mules scored all four goals of the third quarter and added the
first two scores of the fourth quarter to break the game open.
McCarthy had two goals in the third quarter, while Brooks and Jamie
Wallace (Marblehead, Mass.) both added one. Boches tallied again to
start the final quarter and minutes later Stew Brown (Wilton,
