PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Junior Kristin White scored
four goals Thursday afternoon to lead Bridgewater State University
to a 13-3 non-conference women's lacrosse victory over
Plymouth State University, spoiling the Panthers' home opener

streak stopped and dipped to 6-3.
After freshman Emily Buckle (Danbury, Conn.)

in, the visiting Bears scored four unanswered goals to take a 4-1
lead with 10 minutes to play in the first half. That ended up
as all of the first half scoring, and team shots were tied at
11-11.
White scored the first two goals of the second half for BSU in the
first four minutes to extend the margin to 6-1. It was 8-1
before PSU got back in the scoring column with a goal by sophomore
Amanda Richardson (Bradford, N.H.) with 17:41 on
the clock. The Bears put the game away with the next five
goals before PSU tallied the final goal in the final minute of
play.
Bridgewater State out-shot the home team 22-6 in the second half
and 33-17 for the game. The Bears also won the battle of
ground balls (17-9) while draw controls were tied at nine
