KEENE, N.H. – Freshman
Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) set a new program record for the Plymouth State University men's swim team in the 200-yard backstroke to lead the Panthers in a 198-48 setback at Keene State College in a dual meet at Spaulding Pool on Sunday.
Fogg was one of three Panthers to set new program standards, along with senior
Ryan Kudish (North Providence, R.I.) and junior
James Farrell (Brentwood, England). Freshman
Adam Cilley (Barrington, N.H.) also posted a season best time in the setback.
Plymouth State slips to 0-3 in dual meets, while the Owls improve to 2-6.

How it Happened:
- Fogg smashed the school record in the 200-yard backstroke after touching the wall in 2:21.68, slicing more than six seconds off the previous mark, to finish third. He added a third place showing in the 50-yard backstroke in 31.46 seconds.
- Kudish set a new standard in the 200-yard IM, finishing third in 2:27.17, while Farrell's school best came in the 50-yard butterfly (28.23).
- Kudish was also third in the 50-yard breaststroke (31.32) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:45.92).
- Junior Matt Canfield (Dansbury, Conn.) had the highest individual finish among the Panthers, taking second in the 100-yard freestyle in 53.88 seconds, while also taking third in the 50-yard freestyle (24.60) and 100-yard IM (1:06.11).
- Cilley was fourth in the 100-yard IM with a season best time of 1:11.87.
- Freshman Jimmy Blanco (Stark, N.H.) took third in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:13.00.
