KEENE, N.H. – Graduate student
Ryan Kudish (North Providence, R.I.) notched the top individual finishes for the Plymouth State University men's swim team as the Panthers fell to Keene State College, 212-46, in a dual meet at Spaulding Pool on Saturday.
Kudish posted second place finishes in the 50 yard breaststroke and 100 yard breaststroke, while senior
James Farrell (Brentwood, England) took third in the 50 yard freestyle in his first competition of the season.
The Panthers also got third place showings from sophomore
Jimmy Blanco (Stark, N.H.) and classmate
Lyden Fogg (Windham, Maine), but the depth of the Owls' roster proved too significant to overcome.

How it Happened:
- Fogg, Kudish, Blanco and Farrell opened the meet with a 1:52.34 in the 200 yard medley relay.
- Blanco posted a season best time in the 200 yard freestyle to finish fourth in 2:05.25. Junior Jason Zink (Stratford, Conn.) also notched a season best with a 2:38.93.
- Fogg and junior Tom Steinberg (Melrose, Mass.) went four-five in the 50 yard backstroke, finishing in 28.73 and 32.08, respectively.
- Kudish posted one of his second place showings in the 50 yard breaststroke, where he was out-touched by just 0.04 seconds with a 31.23.
- Steinberg took fourth in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:13.62.
- Swimming his first individual event of the season, Farrell went third in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.90.
- Blanco, freshman Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) and Zink finished third, fourth and fifth in the 100 yard freestyle.
- Fogg took fourth in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:01.42.
- Kudish earned another second-place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke after touching the wall in 1:09.47.
- Fogg snagged a third place finish with a season best 5:44.54 in the 500 yard freestyle.
- Freshman Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.) teamed up with Lyons, Steinberg and Farrell for a third place performance in the 200 yard freestyle relay as the foursome combined for a 1:46.51.
