WBB: Warriors too strong for Panthers

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's basketball team fell to Eastern Connecticut State University, 69-37, in a Little East Conference (LEC) game at Foley Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
 
Plymouth State battled early foul trouble against the Warriors, who sit in second in the LEC. Freshman Sophie George (Meredith, N.H.) led the way with 15 points, while senior Sarah Sweet (Narragansett, R.I.) managed seven points in the losing effort. Junior Natalie Harris (Barrington, N.H.) was efficient in her limited action, scoring four points in just four minutes of play.
 
Plymouth State falls to 5-13 (0-11 LEC) on the season, while Eastern Connecticut moves to 16-4 and 10-1 in the LEC.
