KEENE, N.H. – Senior
Emily Santom (Litchfield, N.H.) outscored Keene State College on her own, as Plymouth State University grounded the Owls, 19-6, in a Little East Conference women's lacrosse game at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday.
Plymouth State held a narrow 3-2 lead at the 7:47 mark of the first, but the Panthers ripped off four straight goals, including a pair from Santom, to take a 7-2 lead into the second quarter.
The teams traded goals, with Santom recording her third of the game just before halftime for a 9-4 lead at the break.
PSU pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Owls by a 6-1 margin in the third quarter to take a 15-5 lead and the Panthers never let up on the way to the win.

- Donovan pushed the lead to 8-2 early in the second quarter ahead of back-to-back goals for the Owls. Santom gave the Panthers a 9-4 lead at the half with her third goal of the day with just over a minute remaining before the break.
- Santom and sophomore Jenna Stowell (Londonderry, N.H.) scored consecutive goals to start the third before KSC cut the lead to 11-5 midway through the frame. It was all PSU from there, though, as Santom scored twice around goals from Donovan and Moshier to make it 15-5 heading into the fourth quarter.
