PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Junior
Lyden Fogg (South Portland, Maine) and freshman
Aiden MacDonald (Hopkinton, Mass.) set program records, but the Plymouth State University men's swim team fell to Keene State College, 211-59, in a
Senior Day dual meet at the PSU Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
Fogg demolished the program mark in the 500-yard freestyle by more than 20 seconds, while also setting a new standard in the 200-yard IM, while MacDonald bested the mark in the 50-yard freestyle during the opening leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Prior to the meet Plymouth State honored seniors
Jason Zink (Stratford, Conn.),
Sebastian Daly (Nashua, N.H.), and
Tom Steinberg (Melrose, Mass.) for their contributions to the program.
The Panthers move to 5-3 in dual meets, while Keene State jumps to 4-6.

How it Happened:
- Fogg set a new standard in the 500-yard freestyle with a second-place time of 5:18.08. He blew past the previous record of 5:40.38 by 22.30 seconds.
- Freshman Todd Rust (Bath, N.H.) finished third in the 50-yard backstroke in 30.64 seconds.
- Sophomore Brendan Lee (Dover, N.H.) took second in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 30.57 seconds.
- Classmate Brady Lyons (Methuen, Mass.) followed with a third place showing in the 100-yard butterfly after touching the wall in 1:00.84.
- MacDonald was the first to touch the wall in the 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 22.80.
- Steinberg placed third in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.81, while Lee was second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.51.
- Freshman Marco D'Addona (Torrington, Conn.) was just off the pace in the 200-yard freestyle to finish second in 2:00.37 before MacDonald extended his strong day with a second-place finish in the 50-yard butterfly in 24.80.
- Fogg notched his second school record with a third place in the 200-yard IM in 2:18.30.
- MacDonald, D'Addona, Lyons and Fogg teamed up to take second in the 200-yard freestyle relay. MacDonald's opening split of 22.66 seconds was also a program best.
