MXC: Flewelling, Panthers impress against top competition

HOPKINTON, N.H. – Senior Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) notched a top-ten individual finish while the Plymouth State University men's cross country took fifth as a team against runners from 11 NCAA Division I and II programs at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Friday.

Flewelling was the Panthers' top finisher for the fifth straight race, securing a tenth-place finish in 25:35.49. Plymouth State posted the three fastest times among D-III runners, as senior Connor Wilcox (Colchester, Conn.) and junior Max Goodman (South Salem, N.Y.) also put together strong races.

Plymouth State finished fifth overall, trailing just four D-I and D-II schools.
