PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team defeated the Elms College Blazers, 81-58, in a non-conference match to open the 2024-25 regular season in Foley Gymnasium Monday afternoon.
Senior
Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H.) led all scorers with 25 points, while sophomore
Eli Pockette (Rutland Vt.) recorded 15 points of his own. Sophomore
Ivan Yen (Concord, N.H.) tallied 12 points for Plymouth State, and senior
Kevin Newton-Delgado (Hopkinton, N.H.) brought down a team-leading eight rebounds in the winning effort.
The Panthers shot 50.0% from the floor and knocked down 11 three-pointers in a contest that PSU never trailed.
Plymouth State opens the campaign with a 1-0 record, while Elms falls to 0-2.
